  Many thanks for your wonderful participation over the years!
I wish to thank Ann Pale community members for their fun and wonderful participation in this forum over the years. Together we attained a high level of dialogue characterized by substance, civility, almost always respect for each other, and often good nature camaraderie. It is my hope that our national dialogue will soon reflect the same qualities.

In the near future, here at Windows on Haiti, we will be switching to a new platform for the expression of your ideas, because we think that it essential to keep that window open. However, with the current popularity of mega-social networks like Facebook, we do not foresee a rush of people coming to express themselves in Ann Pale, as was the case in the golden years of this forum. All the same, we invite you to register at http://haitiforever.com/newtalk/index.php?action=register and become a new member of "Let's Talk / Ann Pale", so you can share your opinions on Haiti topics as you wish. The forum will be very lightly moderated, though we are bound to enforce some standards of decency and civility when they are breached. Quite frankly, we do not expect that to happen at any time.

The nearly 18,000 posts from the old forum have been archived and backed up, of course, for any future consideration. The forum itself, however, may not be available for browsing too much longer, as we need to pare down our server expenses. Feel free to request that specific forum threads be ported over to the new format. We will try to accommodate you when we can, as long as the amount of work is not excessive.
